There's one wedding on our list that hits a little different, because it happened to be our own Danielle's. When it came time to plan her own day at Piccione Vineyards, her mom took the reins on everything, custom faux florals, full design, decor, even the wedding cake. Danielle still jokes that she may have been her mother's toughest client yet.

Piccione Vineyards feels like a little slice of Italy tucked into the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, with rows of grapevines rolling down the hillside below it. Rain moved in on the afternoon of the wedding and pushed the outdoor ceremony inside at the last minute. It hardly mattered. The reception hall opens up to a wall of windows looking straight out over the vineyard, so Danielle and Taylor still said their vows with those hills right behind them. Later that evening, a clear umbrella turned into one of the prettiest photos of the day.

The florals leaned bright and garden-inspired: dahlias, ranunculus, and roses in yellow, orange, pink, and deep magenta, cooled down by hydrangea and delphinium in soft blue. Blue and white chinoiserie vases and ginger jars held the arrangements on the reception tables, dusty blue linen runners ran the length of each one, and gold candlesticks, mercury glass votives, and lanterns filled in the rest of the room as the sun went down. Even the wedding cake picked up on it, a simple white two-tier with hand-piped navy florals and a gold monogram topper.

Every piece of stationery, from the save-the-dates down to the table numbers, was designed by Danielle herself through Created by Coffee Designs. Each piece carried a hand-drawn vineyard sketch and the same blue chinoiserie florals found throughout the room, right down to a wax seal on a dusty blue ribbon wrapped around the invitations.
